Chili cook-off
Ellinwood District Hospital and Auxiliary held a chili cook-off on Thursday with eight teams contributing their special chili recipe. Hospital employee Jessica Grigoreva, above, was a server. By a vote of the public, the winners, Team 4, from the Rural Health Clinic, will advance to the Bikers Of Central Kansas Chili Cook-off in Great Bend on Feb. 19. The hospital will use the proceeds to purchase equipment for the outpatient cancer treatment and a clinical chair. The event raised $600.
