BUSHTON — Central Plains Middle School named Jada Whiterock the December Student of the Month. Whiterock is the daughter of Jackie and Carol Whiterock and is in the seventh grade. Whiterock has four brothers: Josh, 15, Jaydon, 10, Brian, 8, and Charlie, 4.

Whiterock is involved in volleyball, basketball, and track. Her hobbies include drawing, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite subject in school is math. When asked what she likes best about school, Whiterock replied, "I like school because I can learn, and I hope to go to college to be a math teacher."

"Jada is the type of student who always wants to do her best," said Sandy Barton, one of Whiterock’s teachers. "She is very helpful to other students in the classroom. She works well with everyone and is kind and considerate. She goes the extra mile to complete her work on time and efficiently. I don’t think I have ever seen her without a smile on her face."

Whiterock is a positive asset to our school and certainly very deserving of this honor, Barton said.
