Approximately 100 calls for service and 125 Officer initiated calls were received for the month of August. Officers responded to seven medical/fire calls and worked four non-injury accidents. three arrests and five criminal summonses were issued in the month of August.

A hit and run accident report was taken at south Schiller and B Street. Brent Schartz was cited for leaving an accident scene, and failure to report

A burglary report was taken in the 500 block of south Bismark

A criminal threat report was taken in the 400 block of Beverly Drive

A driving under the influence report was taken in the 500 block of south Bismark. Thomas Charles was arrested and transported to the Barton County jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu bond

A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 300 block of east 6th. Two juvenile males were subsequently charged with the damaging of 15 windows

A theft report was taken in the 600 block of east 2nd.

Tracy Templeton was arrested in the 200 block of west 1st on an active Barton County warrant. Templeton and Stacy Standlee were served criminal summonses for curfew violations

A juvenile male was served a criminal summons for possession of tobacco products by a minor
