Hoisington High School yearbook staff members, Abi Rziha, Ashley Lockwood, and Tana Hickel, took first place Grand Champions at the KSPA Kansas State Fair’s Largest Classroom competition on Sept. 11.
Hoisington’s print team competed against 14 other schools, ranging in size from 1A-6A. Each team (five people, maximum) had until 6 p.m. that day to complete at 4-page newspaper covering the events of the day.
The team will be awarded with a Grand Champion Rosette ribbon and a cash prize of $100.
