History lessons
In writing, 5th and 6th graders have combined research reports with Social Studies at Ellinwood Grade School. While 6th graders were exploring ancient Mesopotamia, many of them became interested in the Ziggurat, an elaborate temple. Seth Winget chose to build one with cake and Rice Krispies. Pictured is Seth with his mother, Harmony. The huge cake fed 55 hungry students and many of the EGS Staff.
