HOISINGTON —The Hoisington High School forensics team placed third out of eight schools competing at Wilson recently.  Sylvan-Lucas placed first, followed by Lincoln in second.
Corbin Crawford placed second in extemporaneous speaking, qualifying in that event for the 3A State Speech Championship in Wichita in May.  Corbin also placed third in humorous solo acting, just missing qualifying that event for State by only one place.
Terance Croslin placed third in serious solo acting, missing qualifying for State by one place.
Rebecca Shinofiled placed third in extemporaneous speaking, also missing qualifying for State by one place.  Joey Lewis placed fifth in extemporaneous speaking.
Rebecca Shinofiled and Logan McHenry placed fourth in duet acting.  
In informative speaking, Rebecca Shinofiled placed sixth, and Nick Doerschlag placed seventh.
