HOISINGTON — Hoisington residents had a second major water leak in less than a week and experienced low water pressure on Friday, according to Paul Zecha, director of Public Works. They also had a main transmission line fracture on Tuesday.
“Old lines,” said Zecha as the reason.
There was corrosion on the main from the water plant was the cause of the leak on Friday.
City crews worked on fixing that line from 10 a.m.  to 2 p.m. on Friday.
Zecha said the repairs were permanent.
