Ellinwood Grade School second grader, Emily Frakes, holds a letter from Hal Leonard Music Corporation congratulating the class on being selected to appear in a moshvideo featuring music classes from across America. Hal Leonards Music Express Magazine sponsored the competition. Music instructor, Debbie Lebbin, made a video of the class performing the theme song, Planet Rock, composed by Janet Day, from the August/September edition of the Music Express magazine. The students loved the song, so I thought it would be fun for them to enter the contest. They were very excited to be chosen to appear on the video, said Lebbin. The video will appear on You Tube, as well as the Hal Leonards Music Express Magazine website.
