GB teen injured in wreck in McPherson

MCPHERSON—A teenager was injured in a Friday afternoon crash in McPherson County, according to the Kansas  Highway Patrol Crash Log.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Silverado 2500 truck driven by Gregory T. Keenan, 54,  of McPherson was stopped in the lane of traffic to make a left turn on U.S. 56 three miles west of Conway.
There was a vehicle between the Silverado truck and a 2003 Mitsubishi driven by Megan K. Vainer, 19, Great Bend. The Mitsubishi rear-ended the truck when the vehicle between the two passed the Silverado on the right shoulder.
Vainer was transported to McPherson Memorial hospital with possible injuries. Keenan was not injured.
Both were wearing seat belts.
