Great Bend police have arrested a man suspected of holding a man at gunpoint while others robbed him Sunday night, Lt. William Browne reported.

Officers were summoned to a residence at 2507 11th St. at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, where they were told Tyler A. Martin, 18, had entered the home with a rifle and pointed it at the victim. Martin allegedly held the man at gunpoint while other unknown subjects took items from the home.

The officers checked the area at that time but were unable to locate Martin. However, they found him at 1801 Eighth St. shortly after 2 p.m. Monday. Martin was arrested and booked the Barton County Sheriff’s Office without incident, Browne reported.

The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Great Bend Police Department, 793-4120, or Crime Stoppers, 792-1300.
