November 2025 Quilts of Valor

United States Army veteran, Sergeant Taft Yates, was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on Nov. 28, 2025, at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Rodney Hitschmann quilt
United States Navy veteran, Petty Officer Second Class Rodney Hitschmann, was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on Nov. 28, 2025, at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Hitschmann served from 1990 to 1997. The quilt top was made by Linda Shull. Vivian Bright was the winner of the 2025 patriot quilt from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor. This fundraiser helps the group continue to honor our veterans for their service to and their sacrifice for our country, members said, adding, “Thank you to all who contributed so our mission may continue!”
