Ron Smith-UWCK Board Member and Frank Kelly 2015 Oilfield Committee Members

Ron Smith, UWCK Board Member and Frank Kelly, 2015 Oilfield Committee Members, along with Scott Reddig, Edward Neimich and David Thill are helping the United Way make a difference in their community. The group has set a goal of $40,000. Scott and Ron helped sponsor an Oilfield Radio-a-Thon. Karen Reddig, Tama Hanson, Becca Maxwell, Ronda Sjogren, Board Members, made calls for the event that raised over $10,000 from Oilfield supporters in the community. To date the committee has reached 65% of its goal. United Way of Central Kansas is dedicating this oilfield campaign to the late Mike Johnson Sr., who was instrumental in helping Ron Smith and the committee revitalize the commitment between the oilfield industry and the United Way. “ I am proud of what these gentlemen have done to support UWCK and they have donated their time and talent to benefit all involved. They believe in the mission statement of United Way and see how the funds stay local and help hundreds of people in the surrounding area. They are great community leaders and are a joy to work with,” said Julie Bugner-Smith, UWCK Executive Director. Contact one of these gentlemen for more information on helping them reach their goal.
