Many adults remember the card catalog of yesteryear. Usually housed in a beautiful wood cabinet, the catalog held a card for each book in the library.
Today’s card catalog is available online through the computer at http://catalog.ckls.org.
By entering your card number and password, you can access the card catalog for central Kansas.
You can order books from other libraries and put books on hold. As long as we have a current phone number, we’ll call as soon as the book comes in. Or, we can add your email to your account and you will be notified by email.

Randy and Susan Willis have donated a book called “How Gracie ‘See’s’ Christmas,” by Hoisington native April Warrick Wilbanks. Her daughter, Gracie, has cerebral palsy and is blind and nonverbal.
The book is dedicated to Dianna Warrick, April’s mother, who was a storyteller at Hoisington Library. April’s father also grew up in Hoisington, Ken Warrick. The book is available through Amazon.
