Due to the ongoing road construction project on Williams, access to Great Bend’s City Hall is limited, city officials said Tuesday.
For access to City Hall, citizens may park behind the building on Stone Street in the parking lot or across the street in the public parking. But, residents are not to park in front of the Fire and Police department garages.
This mill and overlay project on Williams Street and Kansas Avenue can take up to 60 days, weather permitting, and the city is asking for everyone’s cooperation in using the open public parking to keep the streets and roads clear for the project.
Tickets will be issued if people park in front of the fire and/or police garages. Those areas need to stay clear for emergency access at all times.
