Coffee hours scheduled
Congressman to visit Wednesday at noon

LARNED — Larned Chamber of Commerce coffee hours are scheduled this week starting with a town hall meeting scheduled Wednesday with Congressman Tim Huelskamp.
The town hall meeting will start at noon Wednesday at the Jordaan Room at the Chamber Of Commerce, 502 Broadway.
Larned Middle School’s Hunter Fitzpatrick will be recognized during this hour after winning “If I Were Mayor” Essay Contest representing the the South Central Region.  There were nearly 1,000 student participants.       
The public is welcome.  
• The Chamber will sponsor a coffee hour for political candidates Tayleene Van Norden, Gene Pierce and Leroy Lyon at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Scraps, 612 Broadway.
Van Norden is running for Larned mayor, Gene Pierce is running for city council and Leroy Lyon is running for the Fort Larned USD 495 school board.
Everyone is welcome to meet the local candidates.
• The Chamber will sponsor a coffee hour at 9:30 a.m. April 1 for Mayor Robert C. Pivonka, who is running for re-election.
The coffee hour is scheduled at the Jordaan Room at the Chamber of Commerce, 502 Broadway.
