George would like to have some of these things.
You could find deer antlers on the Santa Fe Trail.
If you’re heading to New Mexico to sell goods, you probably want to pick them up to make jewelry out of them.
While traveling the Santa Fe Trail, kids would have  found turkey feathers. You could make a head dress that looks like the Indians. Then, they could play Cowboys and Indians.
You could find arrowheads on the Santa Fe Trail.
When the Indians come by the Trail, they could have dropped arrowheads on or beside it. If the travelers found the arrowheads, they could sell them at the market in New Mexico. They could also keep them and show them to their friends.
On the Santa Fe Trail, the travelers may have found pieces of woven blanket from the Indians. If they had holes in their clothes, then they could patch them up.
Wow! Could you imagine traveling the Santa Fe Trail and finding deer antlers, turkey feathers, arrowheads and pieces of woven blanket? I could.
