LARNED — Larned football coach A.B. Stokes, his assistants, and the Indian football players took part in the yearly LHS team camp this week.
The Indian players lift weights from 6 to 7 a.m. and then take part in the coach led camp from 7 to 8:30 a.m. The Indians work as a team and then break up into individual positions and meet with the skilled position coaches.
A group of 20 Larned Indian varsity players were scheduled to travel to Maize South Friday to participate in a padded camp sponsored by the Emporia State University football coaching staff.
The camp is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — broken into three sessions. Larned practices as a team and compete against other participating teams.
