LARNED — Sacred Heart Altar Society recently sponsored a raffle in conjunction with the parish’s capital campaign.
“The Altar Society thanks everyone who bought or sold raffle tickets,” said Mary Klinge, Altar Society president. “All prizes were either handmade or donated by parish members and the Altar Society is very grateful for their generosity.
Klinge said over the past five months, Sacred Heart Parish has been involved in a capital campaign for the purpose of raising funds needed to begin construction on their Faith Formation and Parish Center.  The goal of the campaign was met. All proceeds from the raffle are donated to the capital campaign.  
Groundbreaking for the new Parish Center occurred June 14.  
However, during construction, Fort Larned USD 495 will continue to use the existing school building for their Early Childhood Program for the 2015-2016 school year.
The Altar Society announced the winners of the raffle.
