LARNED — The Sacred Heart Church in Larned recently built a brand new Religious Educational Parish Center, which includes several classrooms and offices, a multi-purpose room, a a spacious kitchen, pantry, and store room.
The educational center also contains a beautiful day chapel which will be used by Father Warren for the daily masses which are held every morning during the work week. The day chapel is decorated with stunning stained glass windows which were created by Bearden’s Stained Glass from Wichita, and by Donnie Kazmaier from Larned. Schaller Construction was the builder in charge.
Sacred Heart’s outreach committee sponsored an open house Sunday to celebrate the completion of the center. Outreach committee members include Tami Keenan, Toni Novotny, Ann Ellis, Kristen Hammeke, Gretchen Whittington and Brian Haberman.
