Santas House added to Christmas events

LARNED — Santa’s House has been added, but photos with Santa will not be scheduled in downtown Larned.
Santa’s House for children will be available Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the Pawnee County Courthouse. Courtland Holman, Larned Chamber director, said work on Santa House’s was done by employees and inmates at the Larned State Hospital facilities.
Kiddie Day will feature Christmas shopping for parents from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers and Larned Chamber board members help the youngsters.
The 92nd annual Christmas Parade sponsored by the Larned Chamber of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors starts at 1 p.m. Saturday. Judging starts at 12:30 p.m.
The Pawnee County Courthouse will feature Christmas caroling. Refreshments are sponsored by the Pawnee County Economic Development and Tourism board.  
A Kiddie Day movie is scheduled at 2 p.m. at the State Theatre, courtesy of the State Theatre, John Schnack Trust and Cox Communications.
The Pawnee Valley Community Health Organization Auxiliary will sponsor its 5th Annual Craft Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Larned Community Center, 1500 Toles Ave.  
Local merchants will sponsor Christmas Open House Friday through Sunday with help from the Larned Chamber of Commerce and tourism board.
