"Freighting Artifacts of the Santa Fe Trail" is a new exhibit at Antiques and Artifacts, 513 Broadway in Larned. The artifacts will be displayed there through the Larned-based Santa Fe Trail Rendezvous, Sept. 16-18.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Wet/Dry Routes Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail Association.

All of the artifacts are historic to the 19th century and are from the personal collection of Dr. David Clapsaddle, president of the Wet/Dry Routes Chapter.
