Splash Pad groundbreaking
At Doerr-Vernon-Park
Courtesy Photo Members of the Larned Pride Committee, local civic leaders, Fort Larned National Historic Site representatives, volunteers and members of the Pawnee County Economic Development group broke ground March 21 at Doerr-Vernon Park. Demolition work by Larned USD 495 students and staff at Doerr-Vernon Park starts Friday. A Splash Pad will be constructed at the park.
