LARNED — The University of Kansas, Pawnee Valley Campus Auxiliary announces the recipients of its scholarship for the 2019-2020 school year. Applicants must be Pawnee County residents who are planning careers in the health-care field.

This year’s recipients are Amber Hewson, presently attending Barton Community College; Baylea Perez, Hutchinson Community College; and Brooke Butler, Hutchinson Community College. Returning recipients are Marley Palmer and Alyson Aldrich.

Candidates must fill out an application, attach a summary of their most recent grades, submit three letters of recommendation and show a letter of acceptance into a health-care program.

The Auxiliary Scholarship goal is to make financial help available through the scholarship for those whose interest is in the medical field and to hopefully encourage those who pursue this profession to continue their career in Pawnee County.
