Orders are being taken for the Prince of Peace Kolache Bake. Orders may be placed through Oct. 3 by calling Kathleen Chacon, 620-793-3679. Those who get an answering machine will be called back to confirm their orders. The baked items will be available to pick up from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, at the St. Rose Auditorium.
Cost is $6 for a pan of six kolaches or six cinnamon rolls. Kolaches are available in cherry, apricot, peach, apple, poppy seed and cream cheese.
Only telephone orders will be accepted and only 400 pans of kolaches will be baked, Chacon said.
