Possible bond proposal on USD 428 agenda

The Great Bend USD 428 Board of Education will discuss a possible bond proposal when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the District Education Center, 201 South Patton Road.

The agenda notes, “for nearly two years, the Community Steering Committee for USD 428 met regularly to prioritize goals and outline phases for a long- and short-term master plan for the school district. The master plan prioritizes safety, security and quality education for students. The board will discuss an achievable plan the community will support and discuss a possible bond proposal.”

Other items on the agenda include recognition of school board members; recognition of academic honors and All-Conference Student-Athletes; presentation of the 2018-2019 business audit; a computer price adjustment; fundraiser requests; Perfect Attendance Bicycle Giveaway Program; personnel; and administrator reports.
