Heartland Farm is offering women a chance to pick up a drill, grab a saw, and build something with their own hands at its upcoming Power Tools for Women workshop.

The workshop, led by Sr. Jane, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Participants will learn to use a variety of hand and power tools while constructing a raised garden bed and bench for the farm. Everyone will take home detailed plans to build their own at home. Lunch is included.

Space is limited to eight participants, and advance registration is required by Thursday, Sept. 24, or whenever spots fill. The cost is $40 per person.
