Current and prospective Prairie Godmothers are invited to “Delivering the Goods for Goodness’ Sake” on Thursday, June 8. This come-and-go social event/service project will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Anchor in the Central Kansas Dream Center at Broadway and Williams (look for the balloons).
The mission of Prairie Godmothers is “Women Helping Women.” The Prairie Godmother Funds at the Golden Belt Community Foundation are used to provide grants that help area women. Between endowment events, members take on small service projects. This year, the Godmothers are going to stock up the supply pantry at the Central Kansas Dream Center. Stop by to drop off donated items, selected from the list below, and then stay to enjoy homemade desserts and summertime refreshments. Door prizes will be drawn every 20 minutes. You do not need to be present to win.
No RSVP is required.

Dream Center Wish List:
Journals and pens/highlighters; lotions; Chapstick/lip gloss; tampons; nail polish; body wash and body sprays; powdered coffee creamers; pocket calenders; facial tissue and toilet paper; paper towels; adult coloring books; colored pencils and prayers.
