Quilt of Valor for Richard David Webster

United States Army veteran Richard David Webster was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on March 9, 2019, at his home in Great Bend. Mr. Webster served from 1963 to 1967. He was trained as a general intercept repairman and was stationed in Germany. He drove a truck and was in charge of a 30-man detachment group. David’s quilt was made by Mary Lou Weiser, quilting by Amy Schartz Mellor. Pictured, from left: Roy Titsworth, Judy Burnette, Richard David Webster and Amy Schartz Mellor.
