The Great Bend Recreation Commission issued the following news release Monday morning regarding weather-related cancellations:

• All GBRC locations (Rec Center, Activity Center, Jean Cavanaugh Wellness Center) will be closing at 3 p.m. today due to the forecasted weather.

• All GBRC practices, after-school programs, wellness classes and adult volleyball games after 3:00 PM are postponed.

• Morning Basketball, A,M. Yoga, and Spin Strength Stretch, as well as Early Morning Wellness Center Hours, Walking, and Pickleball will be cancelled on Tuesday. They will reevaluate the rest of Tuesday activities and openings at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
