Great Bend Fire/EMS

EMS made four ambulance runs Tuesday.


Great Bend Police

A theft was reported at Brit Spaugh Park at 2201 Main St., at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday.

A narcotics violation was reported at 12th St. and Van Buren St. at 1 p.m. Tuesday. A man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. 

A report of criminal damage was made to a vehicle at Shop Revival, 4820 10th St., at 3:54 p.m. 

Theft of a bicycle was reported at 1110 Murphy St. at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft of a debit card was reported in the 1100 block of Morphy St. at 4:38 p.m. Tuesday.

Underage subject allegedly attempted to buy alcohol and attempted to run over a subject in the parking lot at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St., at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.


Barton County Sheriff 

A non-injury crash was reported at NE K-156 and mile marker 132, Great Bend, at 5:16 a.m. Tuesday. 

A non-injury crash was reported at 214 E K-4 (out of county), at 6:47 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of lost property was made at Barton County Sheriff’s Office.

A case of fraud was reported at 47 SE 50 Rd., Great Bend.

A theft was reported in the 400 block of SE 50 Ave., Great Bend, at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday.

A non-injury crash was reported at mile marker 220 and U.S. 56, Ellinwood, at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday.
