Christ's sacrifice presented by Adventist choir

Christ’s sacrifice will be presented by the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church choir at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, April 19 at the church, 1 mile west of 10th St. and Patton Road.  Pastor Terry Ruebush will narrate using Mark, chapter 11-14.
Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem is portrayed by the opening song, “Loud Was the Praise and Triumphant.” Other songs include “Antiphonal Hosanna” and the spiritual “Ride on Jesus, Ride.”
Natanya Razafindrabe is featured in “Jesus Walked this Lonesome Valley.” The Crucifixion scene is presented in “Lead Me to the Cross,” “At the Cross”  and a male quartet singing “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross.” The sacrifice Christ made on the cross for us is clearly presented in “Written in Red.” “Sing for Joy this Happy Day”  sets the tone for the resurrection story. The congregation will close the program with the singing of “Christ the Lord is Risen Today.”
