The musical ministry of CTI 14:22 will perform on the east lawn of Trinity Lutheran Church, 2701 24th St. in Great Bend, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7.
CTI (Carpenter’s Tools International) is the official at-large music ministry of Youth For Christ International. CTI 14:22 is one of CTI’s two full-time ministry teams traveling the United States and part of Canada during the school year.
The teams perform in churches, colleges, schools, prisons and other venues where they encourage the church, challenge Christians to loving action in response to Christ’s call to “make disciples of all nations,” and share the hope of Christ with those who don’t know Him.
As they minister, they support CTI’s ongoing outreach efforts worldwide through their specific focus on recruiting other young musicians for CTI’s short-term and long-term  musical missions opportunities. The teams also travel internationally each fall to minister to young people and explore opportunities for its summer short-term teams.  CTI 14:22 just returned from Taiwan.
CTI is a community of young people who combine their common passion for music with their mutual desire to share the love of Christ.  It is also a vehicle through which these young people are trained, equipped and mobilized into ministry opportunities where they can use their gifts to impact their generation.
At the Great Bend event, there will also be opportunities for community members to learn more about using their talents and passions to share God’s love. For more information about the event, contact the church offices by calling 620-793-7894.  For more information about CTI, go to ctimusic.org or call 320-235-0155.
