Members of Faith Community Church will share their hobbies, handiwork and businesses with the public at the church’s first Business, Craft and Hobby Show.
The show will be held from 1:30-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, in the Family Center building of the church campus, located one mile west of 10th St. and Patton Road in Great Bend.
Pastor Sandy Kennedy said the show is open to the community.
“Our church has never done anything like this before, but why not!” she said. “Many of our attendees have a small business, a craft or a hobby. However, because of schedules and time restraints many of the church attendees do not know what the other church attendees are involved in. ... The show is a way for church attendees to promote and showcase their business, display and sell their crafts, and show people their hobbies. Faith Community Church wants to be a blessing to the community. People love to go to shows like this.”
There will be a variety of exhibitors, including live entertainment. Items for sale will include baked goods, crafts, home products and gifts.
