This is a great opportunity for young and old alike to learn how they can be involved in missions and to hear how the good news of Jesus Christ is spreading throughout the world, said the Rev. Sandy Kennedy, pastor at Faith Community Church. The conference and workshops will give a glimpse of the many different facets of world missions.
The Roca Blanca Mission Base in Oaxaca, Mexico, has had teams participate in its ministry from various denominations and churches in the USA. Medical teams from both Christian and secular colleges have gone and worked with the Corban Medical Clinic at the base.
The Kershners and the Roca Blanca Worship team will be the guest ministers at Faith Community Church Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 5. For more information or to register for the banquet, call 620-793-8084 or e-mail faith4greatbend@gmail.com. The church website is www.faith4greatbend.com.
