On April 20-22, Faith Community Church will host the Great Bend Healing Campaign. The citywide event will kick off Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m. with a night of Praise and Prayer. At 10 a.m. on Saturday morning a healing school will be held. Healing and miracle services will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday. The public is invited to attend, Pastor Sandy Kennedy said.
Guest speakers are Melissa Harris and Kylie Oaks. Harris is lead pastor at the Supernatural Life Church in Branson, Mo. Her dynamic preaching style and passionate desire to follow the leading of God in every service stir people of all ages to yield their lives boldly and fully to His plan. The philosophy of this ministry is that there is no church too dry, no life too broken, no village too dark, and no yoke of bondage too heavy for the anointing of Jesus Christ to radically change. As a result of her ministry, believers and non-believers alike have received prophetic impartation, miraculous healings, and life-changing encounters in the presence of the Lord, Harris says. Melissa Harris Ministries travels to churches, conferences, and open fields to boldly declare that “Today the Power of the Lord will be seen in your life, on your life, and through your life!”
Oaks is the Senior Associate Pastor at the Supernatural Life Church. According to her biography on the church website, from her childhood she was active in the ministry, teaching about God’s love and singing around the world. In her early 20s, a series of experiences with God led her to commit herself fully to the calling on her life. Today, Oaks ministers on the power of faith, leads people to throne in worship, and flows mightily in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is her hope to see the body of Christ arise, and walk in the power and love that God has ordained for us.
