Members of the First Presbyterian Church will offer like-new and gently used books for sale on the morning of Saturday, July 23, as a project to raise money for missions.

The sale will take place from 8 a.m. until noon at the church, located at 24th and Washington in Great Bend. Sponsors said there will be a variety of both hardbacks and paperbacks, books for both children and adults, fiction and non-fiction, books on tape, Christian fiction and Biblical reference titles. Also for sale will be bundles of magazines on specialized topics such as gardening, cooking and recipes, woodcarving, birding, etc.

Items will be price at $1 or less. All proceeds from this sale will go to Barton County Emergency Aid and the church’s Crisis Management program.
