“Walking with Jesus through the Parables” is the theme of this year’s Vacation Bible School at the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church, located one mile west of 10th and Patton Road.
Each evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. starting Monday, July 23, through Friday, July 27, the children will be introduced to a parable that Jesus told through skits and a Bible story.
There will be a mission project, “Shoes for God’s Kids,” which will allow the children to bring offerings to furnish orphans with shoes. Nature nuggets will illustrate how God works through nature. Crafts will be related to the subject of the evening. A praise team will teach songs through word and action. Snacks will help to finish the program.
There will be a special program for parents on the final evening.
