LA CROSSE — The Ascension Southern Gospel Quartet will be in concert  at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the La Crosse Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8th and Columbia.
The Ascension, based in Lebanon, Mo., is a dynamic group of talent who travel thousands of miles annually, sharing their ministry throughout the heartland of America, sponsors said. The members of the quartet deliver their testimonies through song and story to large numbers of people in churches as well as civic functions. The Ascension’s presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is moving and well received by all audiences.
The Ascension’s latest CD, “We Represent The King,” produced and recorded with Homeland Entertainment Group in Nashville, showcases their abilities. Their radio single “Whatever It Takes” is on the Heartwarming label.
