The Great Bend Youth Workers Alliance is sponsoring a free Fifth Quarter event tonight, for all Great Bend middle school and high school students. Fifth Quarter starts at 9 p.m. and continues until midnight at the First Assembly of God church, 601 South Patton Road. According to spokesman Ashley Dowgwillo, there will be inflatable games, video games, basketball, free food and a concert by the band Echelon.

All students must present their school ID card for entrance into the event.

Formed in September, the Great Bend Youth Workers Alliance aims to provide opportunities for all Great Bend youth, and encourages community members and businesses that share this passion to contact them. Current YWA members include: Kelli and Justin Frazier of First Christian Church, Randy Mills of Crosspoint, Charles Badsen from First Assembly of God and Dowgwillo of Trinity Lutheran Church.
