Its time again to break out your armor and gowns for this years Renaissance Fair that’s coming to Great Bend.
The gates will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Brit Spaugh Park. The general admission is $6, $4 for children 5 to 10 years of age, and free for children 4 and under. Students get in for $5 with student ID. Parking is free.
“This is a lot of fun,” said fest organizer David LeRoy of the family-friendly event. “There is something for people of all ages.”
This years event will host four different acts. These acts include: Crazy Boy Coy the fire breather and juggler, Ez ‘n Dill folk music and Celtic music performers, Thistle Green Celtic and pirate song performer, and Ian Briggs bag piper. There will also be the King And Queen, that will give lessons on knighthood and hold daily knighting for children. Live performers walking around to entertain the crowd, food venders and merchants selling their goods.
All these acts will take place on one stage throughout the day.
This years event marks the six year anniversary for the renaissance fair.
