The driver of a semitrailer was injured Wednesday morning in Rice County, 3 miles west of Bushton on K-4.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports the 2016 Kenworth pulling a trailer was driven by Galen D. Wilson, 72, of Rozel. At 8:45 a.m. as he was driving west on K-4, the vehicle dropped off the edge of the roadway into the north ditch. The driver was unable to bring the semi back up on the roadway due to the muddy ditch. He lost control and the vehicle overturned.
Wilson was taken to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington with undetermined injures. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
