A ballot question that extends Great Bend’s quarter-cent sales tax for 10 more years was approved Tuesday. The sales tax is used for street improvements. There were 2,130 people who voted in favor of keeping the tax. That was nearly 75 percent of the total voted. There were 724 no votes, which was slightly more than 25 percent.
