The Great Bend USD 428 Board of Education will make a final decision on which architectural firm the district will use when it meets on Monday. The meeting is set for 5 p.m. at the District Education Center, 201 S. Patton Road. Also on the agenda is a review of the Jobs for Americas’s Graduates - Kansas (JAG-K) program and discussion of possibly expanding the program at Great Bend High School.
Several student achievements will be recognized Monday. Students in the KMEA Honor Orchestra, GBHS band members in honor bands, and All Conference Student Athletes will all be lauded, along with GBHS student Cierra Wood, who has qualified for an all-expense paid trip to the JAG National Student Leadership Academy in Washington, D.C.
