The Great Bend USD 428 Board of Education will recognize academic achievements during its next meeting, set for 5 p.m. Monday, May 14, at the District Education Center, 201 South Patton Road.
Unfinished business on the agenda includes approval of student and teacher handbooks and adoption of the next middle school science curriculum. New business includes a request to purchase new computers for the schools and sell used ones to school personnel; summer hours for the District Education Center; paper bids and a software purchase. Executive sessions will be held to discuss the latest proposal for teacher contracts and to discuss the evaluations of building principals.
