The Barton County Sheriff’s Office is again seeking the public’s help in locating the second of two suspects following a drug bust on the afternoon of Dec. 11 at 7 NE 30 Road, just north of Great Bend, Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir said.

Authorities are looking for Dustin Sullivan, a Great Bend man who was not at the location of the search warrant when it was served. Sullivan is a 46-year-old white male who is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Sullivan is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 620-792-1300 or the toll-free number, 888-305-1300. Citizens may also call 911.

Back on Dec. 11, deputies had a warrant to search for controlled substances and drug paraphernalia and arrested Kortnie Nowak, 26, of Russell, Bellendir said. Officers entered the residence without incident and found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as packaging materials.

Nowak was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the Barton County Jail. She also had two outstanding warrants from Russell County.

Bellendir said she was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond on the Barton County charges and no bond on the Russell County charges.
