Seventh-Day Adventist Church promotes Let's Move Day

The Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church and School announces Let’s Move Day will start at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21 at the church parking lot, across from the Great Bend Trailhead on west 10th Street.
This event is being sponsored by Dr. Bell Razafindrabe and the Pain and Spine Clinic. For advance registration call 620-792-2991 or 620-791-7314 or register at 2:45 the day of the events. Water and fruit snacks will be provided along the trail.  
Free Events include a 2-mile walk, 3- and 5-mile runs, and road cycling trips of +10 and +20 miles.
First Lady Michelle Obama launched “Let’s Move” in February 2010 to help solve the problem of childhood obesity within a generation, so that kids born today reach adulthood at a healthy weight. The Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America has joined some 50 other faith and community organizations in supporting this national initiative to fight the epidemic of childhood obesity.
