The Shafer Art Gallery will be closed until mid-November while it receives cosmetic enhancements, which include tile repairs and new accent tile being installed.  The renovations also include new wall coverings.
Gallery Director Dave Barnes said the updates will be a great addition to the façade of the gallery and it will be well worth the wait.
“The gallery will benefit greatly in the long run,” he said.
The gallery postponed its annual faculty and staff exhibit, which will be rescheduled later in the school year.
