A City of Great Bend Public Works Street Division crew patches potholes near 10th and Washington Thursday afternoon. They spent Thursday making their way down the busy street as traffic whizzed past them. According to Public Works Director Simon Wiley, his crews are pretty much following the routes set forth in the city’s snow removal plan, starting with the high priority routes and working their way into residential areas. Weather permitting, he hopes to have the work done by the end of May.
