HOLYROOD — On Thursday a possible abduction attempt happened Thursday afternoon at Central Plains Elementary School in Central Plains USD 112.
A child walking home from school as approached by an elderly man driving a late-model blue minivan. The man offered the child a ride home, but the child said no and made it home safely.
According to Superintendant of USD 112 Greg Clark, he was notified about this at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and started contacting parents. It was also posted on the USD 112 website and on its official Facebook page.
