There is such a thing as a free lunch – and breakfast, too – at selected USD 428 school sites this summer.
Offered through the Summer Food Service Program, breakfast and lunch will be served Mondays through Thursdays from June 6-30. The lunches will be available free of charge to children 1-18 years of age at Lincoln, Riley, Park and Eisenhower schools. Breakfast is served at Park and Riley schools only.
Participants may eat at any site, regardless of where they attend school. Parents may eat with their children. Breakfast is $2 and lunch is $3.
USD 428 food service, under the direction of Karl Sprague, will serve the meals at the following times and locations:
Lincoln – 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
